She and her office are very responsive and it is easy to communicate with them. I went to see her for a back/disk problem and also had some other issues which I was not able to resolve/identify. Dr. Feuer immediately diagnosed the disk issue, gave me a plan of action to correct it and saw me through prior and post surgery. She could also intuit that there was something else going on that was making me feel ill even though it was a non-neurological issue. She pointed me in the right direction and I got to the bottom of the other issue. I truly feel that Dr. Feuer saved me. She is extremely intelligent and practical and also very intuitive such that she can understand issues neurological and also on a larger scale. I am so fortunate that she was recommended to me. I cannot speak more highly of her and am incredibly thankful that I can count her among my caregivers. You gave me a thorough examination and continually said how worried she was with the results. She didn’t give me a diagnosis of ALS, ( Lou Gehrig’s disease ) but recommended that I go see an ALS specialist as soon as possible. I left her office upset at the possibility that I might have ALS, I proceeded to leave a glowing review of her. \n\n During the months that followed, I tried to reach her numerous times ( at least six ) to discuss with her the findings of the ALS specialist that she recommended and to review the original findings that she made. As of today, I have never gotten a response from her. Maybe she thought that I would die of ALS shortly and was no longer a potential patient. Dr. Naomi Feuer received her medical degree from New York Medical College after graduating with honors from Yeshiva University. She completed an internship in internal medicine at Long Island Jewish Medical Center and a residency in neurology at the North Shore-Long Island Jewish Health System. She then completed a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology with a subspecialty in electromyography and neuromuscular disease at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center.Dr. Feuer is currently an Assistant Professor of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medical College and an Assistant Attending Neurologist at NewYork-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell. She is a supervising attending neurologist at the New York Presbyterian resident neuropathy clinic. She sees patients with general neurological disorders but has a particular interest in neuromuscular diseases and EMG. Dr. Feuer specializes in the evaluation and management of patients with back and neck pain, muscle weakness, peripheral neuropathy, radiculopathy, spine disorders, nerve injury and headache. She is certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and is a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
